    Line Driver versus 420 EQ

    Chap.....

Whats the difference between a "line driver" and a Wetsounds 420 EQ?

    #2
The WS-420 is a line driver along with all the other benefits of a dual-zone controller with sub volume and 4-band Parametric EQ. The WS-420's tower and in-boat EQ is independent of each other, unlike many automotive EQ. This allows you to taylor the tower and in-boat sound to suite your listen preferences.

A simple Line-Driver will just boost the low-level signal from the source to the amp. Most are only single chnl, so you would need one for each amp, depending on how you had the system configured.

Word is there are some new features for the next gen Ws-420 Not sure i can say just yet, sorry.
