Small stereo, nothing big

I was thinking of putting a small system in the 2100v. Something like: Alpine cda-102 head unit with there small KTP-445 amp that is a plug n play deal for 4 small 6 1/2" alpine marine speakers. Then maybe a alpine mrp-m500 amp with there 10" marine sub.

Does anyone have expeirence with there small little booster amp. The rating is 45rms and the speakers call for 30rms.

I don't need to blow anyone out of the water because I know im not getting the whole wetsounds setup but I just want some good sound for in a cove or cruising the no wake zones. Hopefully I can hear it a little while at wakeboarding speeds in the boat.

I have it in my boat and it sounds great. Cheap and works like they say.

Since the you are planning on installing a real amp anyway, since you are only going to have 4 in-boats, and since the Alpine marine amp is a 4-ohm sub, why not just go with a single 4 chnl amp that will do it all for you.

good point haha, i was thinking of going the cheapest route but i forgot to add up the two prices and see what kind of amp that could get me, so just bridge 3/4 for the sub and run two speakers in parrallel for a 2ohm load on channels 1/2

Yep, just make sure you get a full-range amp so it will do low-pass for the sub.

Go with something like a Kicker ZX700.5 or the IX1000.5, Alpine 5 channel or you could go with like a Hifonics Zeus 5 channel and then you will have room to grow. Or like Mike suggested, single 4 channel will get you to the same place but maybe not as much power to the sub. My buddy has 4 wetsounds xs650's and 2 Pro 60's running off of a ZX350.4 and it actually sounds pretty good.
