I've noticed that Tige has been putting the 6.5" cabin speaker under the drivers helm next to the sub....has anyone ever thought of moving this to the area closest to the throttle on the side of the boat where the fabric/upholstry is? I haven't installed mine yet so I have the freedom to do so if its a good idea...any thoughts? How hard would it be to drill through this upholstry, would it support the speaker weight, etc etc? Anyone done this have some pix?

My best advice is to remove the panel, cut through the board ONLY with a hole saw leaving the foam and vinyl intact. The pizza cut the foam and vinyl. Do you think it will sound better?
What are yougoing to di with the empty hole?
Just curious. Unless your doing something like the dual sub. I see no reason to move it. But obviously it can be done. good luck.Comment
