Anyone familiar with this brand? Good or bad reputation? It seems like they have an extensive marine product offering, with some really cheap pricing on amps....any good or bad experiences to share?

I also noticed some of their "electronics" are private labeled Clarion products, like some head units, remotes, etc etc, but a hell-of-a lot cheaper!

I bought a pair of Pyle speakers for our old fishing boat. When I bought my Tige I had 2 bad speakers in it, so I put the Pyles in. The torn speaker sounded better, minus the rattling. I promptly sold the Pyles and replaced all four cabin speakers with Polk db651's. Yes they costed more, but sound far better.

I also had a Pyle head unit in our sailboat. If we had not used to boat in a while and the humidity inside the boat was high, the thing would not work. Usually after a half hour to hour of "drying out" it world work fine.

Put them in my first Tige (98 21i) due to the fact the stereo it came with basically didn't work at all. It was a cheap solution nothing great but provided tunes while hanging and a driving around the lake gave me a Aux in option as well. For having a bad/ no music situation its an ok option... I only used it for 1/2 a season then sold the boat and got the 21V so I cant speak on how long it will last.

Have a buddy who had these. He paid twice because he replaced that sh_t with Polks
