Sounds like I procrastinated long enough. That I might be one of the first inline for a set of the rev8..but am I going to have to rob a bank to pay for them is the big????? They sound pricey...I am sure they are worth every penny..but things are getting kinda crazy when it comes to the price of some of this stuff.......hoping I only have to rob 1 bank to get them as anymore increases my chances of getting caught!

Additional Info on the New Rev-8
From WW
Hi guys,
Sorry for the delay but I have been super busy trying to get everything set for the new stuff. Yes the Revolution is coming!
We call them Revolution because we feel they truly are revolutionary. We were one of the first companies to bring HLCD wakeboard towers speakers to market and had our first designs in 2004. So 7 years continually learning and designing and prototyping. As the market has matured, we have been getting so many requests from customers and dealers about ways to get the up close sound quality of a conventional speaker and the projection of a horn loaded speaker in one package. Everyone always wanted the loudest. Now it seems everyone wants to be loud but also wants the smooth sound and up close in and around the boat sound. So over 2 years ago, we started working on these new designs to build hands down the best sounding while still being the loudest HLCD tower speaker ever.
We examined the human auditory system and did research on frequencies and which ones affect your ears more than others at louder volumes. We looked at ways to get more output while keeping the housings small. we looked at ways to increase the mid bass output to keep up with a horn loaded driver easier, we looked the clamps and mounting solutions, etc...
So the end result is a speaker system that is insanely loud but with a sound quality unmatched. IMHO, I feel these are the perfect tower speaker. They blend full warm mid bass and smooth highs without the "horn" sound or harshness, all while still being able to project and get the volume to the rider.
The two products set to be shipping in a few weeks are the REV 8 and REV 10. Both products share some really cool technology. We designed a new motor structure for the mid bass drivers that increases their output and efficiency. We designed a new cone materiel that is stiffer and lighter by adding a layer of Kevlar to our EFG(epoxy fiberglass cone). We came up with a new formula for our polyurethane surround proving more excursion and more efficiency. We designed a new compression driver that provides a really smooth sound. We designed a really trick crossover section so that the response is smooth and the harsh section of frequencies are toned down to not affect your ears, new updated stainless steel overlay grilles that have our signature look but a smoother rounder shape and recessed stainless into the grilles, new clamps with both fixed and swivel options. I will update more info on the clamps later. But there will be a ton of options.
The REV 8 uses the housing from our PRO 60 speaker with a new front bezel to fit the REV 8 inch driver. So you get a true 8 inch driver in the sized housing previously for a 6.5 inch speaker. The REV 10 uses the housing from the PRO 80 speaker with a new front bezel to fit the REV 10 driver. So you get a true 10 inch driver in the sized housing previously for an 8 inch.
The REV 8 is rated at 200 watts RMS/400 watts peak and the REV 10 is 300 watts RMS/600 watts peak. As with everything we rate, these are conservative ratings.
REV 8 will be shipping May 12th (give or take a few) and the REV 10 will be the end of may so a few weeks behind the REV 8.
We will be taking pre orders now so if anyone is interested let us or your local dealer know.
REV 8 (x mount or fixed pipe clamp mount) $999 pair
REV 8 (TC3 swivel, quick disconnect clamp) $1099 pair
REV 10 (x mount or fixed pipe clamp mount) $1149 pair
REV 10 (TC3 swivel, quick disconnect clamp) $1249 pair.
Here are some pictures of a prototype pair of REV 8 on our new Sea Hunter Salt Water demo boat for Team Wet Sounds Fishing Team. These were through bolted to the t top. Anyone that has heard this boat at the boat shows it was at for the last 2 weeks will be able to tell you more about the sound.
I will add some pictures of the REV 8 and REV 10 and more info on the clamps when I can.

I really cant see them being that much better than the pro series.....but I have been wanting new tower speakers since I bought my boat. Talked with Tim a few times surf expo and Tige dealers meeting and this guy is one passionate man when it comes to marine audio. So if he says they something special I know they are going to blow me away.
