Amps Stolen | Where to put new one?

Hey everyone...had the amps stolen from my new RZ2 over the weekend (kid left his wallet in the boat). Still need to replace them. My audio guy is suggesting putting them behind the port passenger seats on the upper wall. He would have to cut through the fiberglass to make this happen. Any thoughts on this? Does this invalidate our hull warranty or impact the integrity of the boat?

Appreciate your thoughts in feedback in advance. Going down w/insurance tomorrow so will post some pictures after that.

Even though this is bad news it does give us the chance to put in a new EQ. My audio guy says that the tuning on the new RZ2s is pretty challenging and he feels with a pretty cheap EQ we will get much better results. Anybody had luck with this? Let me know.

Pics would be great, i'm not visualizing where he suggests reinstalling them.

I would put them back in their original location using anti-tamper screws and then maybe build a false wall to cover them. Out of sight, out of mind and a pain in the arse to uncover if they were persistent enough. I would also use the anti-tamper screws to secure the false wall.

What "EQ" is he suggesting? Knowing this, someone might be able to comment on the quality of the results of the specific one you are looking at using.
