Ideas for Mounting Amps

I have a 2006 24V and I am wondering specifically how other owners mount their amps under the port console? Any pictures??

Mine was installed by dealer, but the amps are mounted to a panel attached to the walkway wall. Panel could also be mounted up against the hull. Couple of pics:

Did they bolt through the walk way panel? I would assume that you would see the heads of the bolts?

I was thinking of bolting a plywood panel through that fiberglass port console and just have a shop powder coat 4 stainless steel bolts "Blue" to match.

Other idea was just to lay a piece of plywood (covered with either carpet of fake leather) against the inside hull and just use an "L" bracket at the bottom to hold on place?

Good idea or not? What do you think?

No, it is not bolted through the walkway wall. Maybe mine had factory bolts glassed into the wall specifically for mounting an amp panel? I'm not sure.

I think your idea against the hull should work just fine.

Om my 2005 there is a panal already under teh carpet. Just use shorter screws as not to go thru all the way.

On my 08 Tige already had plywood under the carpet.

On your model, Tige has a reinforced panel glassed in on the inside wall of the port side walk-thru wall.

Coat it with epoxy and try and raise it off the floor/carpet.
