Thank for all the help everyone on the info!

    Few questions,

    1. Would the Wet Sounds SS65's be a good cabin speaker for the money,

    2. I am thinking of the Alpine CDA-118M Marine CD receiver/ipod deck head, and I am wondering if anyone has any pros or cons ??

    3. Alpine has a new tower speaker SBR Wake1. Has anyone heard of reports?

    4. JL 6-channel Class-AB System Amplifier. 75 Watts x 6 @ 4 ohm / 100 Watts x 6 @ 2 ohm - 14.4 V I was thinking I could use this amp to power 1 sub and either 2 or 4 tower speakers.

    Thanks for the help

http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/cda-118m/ Havent played with one yet, but it looks like some great features. The only down side, and I need to double check it, but it looks like a double DIN (1.8 DIN) this would leave a large hole to fill later if a head-unit change was made

    3. Alpine has a new tower speaker SBR Wake1. Has anyone heard of reports? I have net heard of these, more less seen pics and pricing. Got a link? I googled and came up zip!

Good power for 3 pair of cabin speakers, but 180 watts bridged for a 4 ohm sub in a boat doesnt lift up my kilt. IMO, you would be disappointed. Bridging a pair of tower, 180 watts is good power, but I would suggest a 2 chnl amp as it would be more efficient for the same power delivery. Plus, that would leave you 2 chnls to power the in-boats. This would put the whole amp running at 2 ohm on all chnls which = peddle to the metal. Running each tower speaker on it's own chnl is only 60W's to each, that's not a lot.

    Thanks for the help
