Okay - to begin, I dont have a Tige (YET!... Want one bad...) - I currently have a 06 Sea Ray 195 Wake Edition that I am looking at installing a system in. My issues:
I have plenty of experience with sealed and ported subwoofer but zero experience with free air (infinate baffle) subs - how do these perform? I am very limited on space and do not have the room under the helm like everyone else does so the XS-10FA came to mind - does this sub create good bass?
Next - does anyone know if I could install 1-2 XS-10FA's in the verticle wall under the rear seat that is basically open to the fuel/engine compartment/hull?
Next - my boat only came with 2 in-boat speakers (near driver/passenger areas) and am looking at replacing these with the XS-650's as well as adding a pair for the bow and possibly an additional pair in the rear somewhere. If this happens, what amp should I use to push the 4 or 6 in-boats and sub? Is it better to have seperate amp for mids/highs and one for sub?
Thanks everyone and again - I am jealous of all of you that have a Tige and want one in the future! I love the boats but not in a position to sell mine (which is a nice boat) and buy the Tige that I want!
Thanks again!
Scott
