Wetsounds threesome (A set of Pro80s and a 485) or 2 sets of Pro 80s. If powered correctly you won't find anything better IMO. Worth every penny and then some. Send a PM to SPBFAN. He'll set you up with what you need.

I know Bullet Audio is in Sacramento you owe it to yourself to get a listen to the hollow point 770's. I have listened to most of the brands and for my ear the Bullet's sound better than the Wetsounds (probably not a popular opinion around here) but thats just me. Also don't get these confused with the bulletlines speakers or krypt audio.

I wouldn't rule out the exiles either I have heard good things.

I will have another picture coming in a few days I changed from chrome cans/black grills to black cans/chrome grils this year.

You also might want to check out the new Kicker component speakers. With a separate horn and driver, I am not sure anything compares.

Do yourself a favor and don't listen to the hype of this or that system - listen to them and determine for your self what you like and that is in your price range.

Also, make sure whatever you go with is powered correctly. Perhaps Mike (ChpThrl) will come along soon... he is great at helping people work through the process.

        Good luck!

I have 4 Wetsound pro 60's on my tower and I have yet to hear a system that sounds as good. I would definitely look at the Wetsounds. My last boat had Kicker speakers and I thought the sound was just average.

To be fair, though, Kicker's new tower speakers are HLCD and will project sound back to the rider much better than previous Kicker products.

If money is no object Wetsounds or Bullet Hollow Point 770s are definitely the way to go. I did have the opportunity to buy 2 of the 8" Bulletline Krypts very cheaply and was amazed at clarity and level of sound. With just 2 we heard them very clearly 80 ft back. I know these are not at same level as the others mentioned so far but they are also much cheaper (can be bought on ebay directly from Bullet Lines for as little as $175 for a pair of 8" speakers and then another $220 for the cans).
I do want to note that any of the HLCD speakers draw alot of power and making sure you budget for the right amp is important.

1-Alpine Pdx 4.100 per pair. 200 watts per speaker.

My advice would be to listen to every brand you can to help make the right choice for you when spending upwords of $2000.00

I really like the Wetsounds, and there customer service is the best from what I have seen on the forums. My boat dealer included 1 pair of Bullet Hollowpoint 770's and I just added another. After hearing the Bullets, Wetsounds, and Exiles equally powered I dont feel you can go wrong with any of these. I have never heard the Kickers.

I will also add that Jaime at Bullet has treated me very well with a couple of minor issues.

I'm looking at adding tower speakers to my 08' 22ve' and would have to change the factory bimini, which installs on the top bar to something similar to what you have in the picture. Do you know where to get one that mounts under the top bar? Also, looking at the Wetsounds!

                      Here are 3 options:

                      1) mount the speakers on the front cross bar like was done from the factory in 08.

                      2) have a canvas maker modify the top to allow for the speakers to clamp on the rear bar.

                      3) have your local canvas guy make a new custom bimini to accomodate for the new speakers.
