Boost Box Review

Hey guys, I just got The Boost Box from watersport innovations and it's amazing! For a while I was debating between getting it and the HSE system. After reading some reviews I decided to go with The Boost Box because 1) it's cheaper, 2) it seemed much easier to install, and 3) it controls the volume of your head unit so the whole stereo's volume is adjusted (vs HSE's where only the amplifier/equalizer its connected to is adjusted).

I ended up purchasing the newest version of The Boost Box which uses an infrared transmitter to adjust the volume, rather than being hard wired into your stereo. Installation was a breeze, it took me less than 15 min. All I did was attach the power wire to the GND and REM terminals on my amp (for power) and placed the infrared transmitter in a place where it could reach the front of the stereo. Programming the unit to your stereo takes 2 min and is outlined in detail in the instructions.

I was amazed at how well the unit works for how easy it was to install. Adjusting the amount of boost offered is done easily with the turn of a knob. I couldn't have asked for an easier product to use.

From what I've read, the HSE unit requires you to find and splice into your boat's RPM wire. The Boost Box works off the boat's angle and velocity in the water, so there's no need to locate and cut any important wires under the dash/engine compartment.

I love this thing! If you've been debating between The Boost Box and the HSE unit, I would recommend The Boost Box! When I ordered mine, I found a promotional code for 10% off that's good through labor day.

One Sony and one Kenwood left.

To be honest I am surprised everyone doesn't use this product! It's priced right super easy to install and really makes your job easier on the water.

Two keys benefits I love!

1) The volume automatically goes up when the boat takes off and comes down to a reasonable level when you get off the throttle... This stops the crowd in the boat being blasted with volume while giving the driver one less thing to worry about while returning to the rider.

2) When I ride, I no longer have to worry about the driver driving and controlling the volume so I can hear my tunes.. I set it to my pref before I even get into the water. Trust me this can save a fight between spouces..LOL..

Honestly every boat should have one!

Me as clearly stated bought a few until for a good price and am simply passing the 3 units I have to TO's for the same price I bought them for. Not to mention I live in Canada!

Im not even sure how you could come to your conclusion as we are competing with each essentially

I am Skyski_tige and have been around for a while.

I did delete it but it was funny how a new member posted up how happy he was with this product that he just bought and then you happen to have 3 of them for sale... I don't think I was WRONG for asking but it was just strange how it played out...
