Wetsounds amp extremely hot

Having a couple issues with stereo system on 2021 zx23

1. Tower speakers do not seem as loud as they used to be, exp - used to never turn volume up to 100 to listen to music when surfing. Now I have to turn up to 100

2. when I initially turn on the amp flashes red, appears to be the thermo protection mode

3. one amp gets extremely hot to the touch, where you can’t keep your hand on it to long, the 2nd amp is fine

any ideas or trouble shooting tips will greatly be appreciated, thanks tige nation

1) can you hear music from the tweeter (horn) and feel the mid-bass driver moving equally from both sides?
2) The amps have onboard diagnostics so the flashing sequence is a code. One code can be thermal.
3) Which amps feels hotter than the other?

Yes I can hear the tweeter and mid bass, just does not seem as loud as it used to be

not sure what amp goes to which speakers, but it’s the top amp that gets extremely hot
