Upgrading to non DSP for tower only

There is a local used SD2 for sale. I want some more volume out of the towers (rev 8 and 10). Is changing out the syn dx2 dsp for the sd2 the best option? Anyone know if they’d be wired for a 4 or 2 ohm load on the amp from the factory? My assumption is 2. I would probably leave the dx6 as is? Or could I use the dx2 just for the sub (not sure due to being dsp)

finally the syn dx2.3hp is on sale. It looks like it’s only a 20w power difference from the sd2. I assume there is more of a difference than just that given the cost difference between the hp and new sdx2s.

the used sd2 is about 250 cheaper than a new HP.

Due to the conservative OEM tune, you will be close to doubling the net wattage to each speaker with an SD2.

Each pair is wired in parallel for a 2 ohm load at the amp.

You will not be able to repurpose the Syn-DX2 to a woofer as their no means to write a new tune.

To four pods, the output is the same between an SD2 (SDX2 current version) and the Syn-DX2.3HP. The SDX has a slightly more efficient power supply and a more advance processor v's the DX2.3HP. I would hesitate to the original SD2 is better than the Syn-DX2.3HP as there may be 4 years between their designs. Tech can move fast.
