2008 22ve stereo replacement recommendations

Apologies if this has been answered. I have searched but did not find what I am looking for.

I would like to replace the stereo head and round controller with a Bluetooth system the is mostly plug and play.

Any recommendations?

I have seen some posts that mention a Clarion M508 head unit. I just don’t know if it is plug and play and how to replace the circular controller on the side by the throttle.

Ill tell you that nothing is going to be PnP. May not be a hard upgrade, but I wont say PnP. There is a chance that your 2008 Clarion has the current 8-pin wired remote extension cable. If so, then the current MW1 remote and M508 and M608 would be compatible. The best way to know this, unplug the cable and count the pins.

I would consider the larger faced M608. Boat builder have a habit of making sloppy cut holes. In this case, the smaller single DIN M508 would need a couple of filler plates to account for the sloppy hole and allow the basket to grab.
