Hey - I just purchased a 2005 Tige 21i. I am looking to upgrade the old stereo that has no bluetooth capabilities. It is an XMD3 and the cutout for it looks much larger then current stereos. Has any one done this in here and know of any other stereo that can fill that large gap?

Ive done a number of upgrades using the Clarion M608. Wont completely cover the XMDs footprint, so we typically fabricate a filler plate to go behind the new unit that covers the old mounting screw holes.

I did an m508 in mine and bought a din cover on Amazon to hide the screw holes from the cmd5 or whatever was there before.
I didn’t need the CD player in the 608 and it was a little cheaper
