    Wet Sounds 3-Some on a 22i

    She's all finished!

This is Jonathan's 05 22i. It started out with just the Sock Clarion XDM3 head-unit and 4 clarion in-boats. With a mild upgrade, it now has:

Wet Sounds white 3-Some on the tower powered by a Syn6

Syn Micro powering the 4 in-boats

And Ws-420 to bring it all together.

May be in the Fall, I can talk him into a couple pairs of SS-65's and a sub

    Hers a few pics:

Looks awesome Mike! Where are the amps, dist blocks, fuse and perko located?

Amps are on the outside wall of the port storage and distro-blocks are on the back side of the access door wall, just to the left of the door opening. The amps are mounted to pedestals that are epoxy-coated carpet covered and bonded to the the bare fiberglass.

Great job. I like where perko was installed. It makes great sense there. Is an awesome install.

The outside speakers can be turned to point out straight with brackets Justin can provide. I originally upgraded mine to Pro80 mounts and then added asdapter and now mine point straight I am sure you already know this since your the expert

I wouldn't say expert, but I have stayed at a few Holiday Inns lately

But, yes, the Pro80's and Pro485's include the new TC-2 Trick Connect. It will allow for quick release of the speaker as well as the ability to rotate them. This makes it easier to fit the arch of a tower with a more natural look. And yes, these are pointed to the outside, on purpose, as opposed to straight back. In this manor, the 3-Some covers the riders area pretty well.

The Pro60's, XST's, SST, and MB8's can be upgraded to the TC-2 clamps.

Very clean install, a few more stays and you will be an expert.

Mike, what did you use to bond the pedestals to the bare fiberglass? JB Weld? I am looking to do something similar to my 22i, but I was worried that those pedestals would eventually give with all of the thrashing of the boat.
