    PL brand Polyurethane contractor adhesive. The hard part is getting some force applied to it till it sets up.

      Why not use epoxy? Would the chemical bond not be stronger with epoxy?

            Am I assuming that you cut the carpet beneath the pedestals to apply the epoxy. Will that not allow moisture beneath the carpet?

              If water is up that high, it's time to abandon ship


              J/K, not but a few inches above the amps is the top of the carpet anyway. If they is streaming water spraying/splashing on that area, the carpet will be the least of the worries. Even so, the carpet doesn't actually "seal" floor and walls from water.
