Audio Booth/Demo Sound Board Taking Shape

We are less then a month away from the Mid-Atlantic Boat Show in Charlotte NC Feb 11-14, and my booth/demo sound board is begining to take shape.

We started with a Nautique tower off the boat of one of the guys my son works for. From there, we started to build a demo sound board that will hold all the components and of course, be loaded up with tower speakers

Here are a few shots from today. We got the stand built to get the tower off the floor and up to eye level and the main panels cut that will hold all the other components. Next step will be to lay out the components and make a final decision on where everything will go. From there, it will be covered in carpet and then everything can be mounted to it.

I've been hunting some tower speakers on Ebay to redone my current Boss m-50 mb quarts. What is your Ebay store name? is it lasdirect2u? I have been trying but always get outbid at the end. Do you ever have scratch and dent special?

No ebay store, sorry. It hard to compete with some of the Ebay sellers, they sell over-stock and refurb stuff and I only sell new product direct from the manufacturer. My products will carry the manufacturers warranty, you take your chances with some Ebay sellers.

Shoot me a PM with what you are looking for. Do you need just new drivers (speakers) or complete enclosures with drivers? Let me know what your budget is also, I have lots of options, I'm sure I can put something together for you. More them likely you will need an amp also, but let me know what you have now anyway.

don't know.. would think Pro Marine in Mebane would be there. I know High Rock boat marine was there last year. It is fishing / water sports show this year. If your are thinking about coming up as a spectator let me know. Give me a call.

Update

Due to the snow and ice we got yesterday, and still continuing today, I had the opportunity to get some more work done on the booth. All the panels are cut and fit. All the holes are cut for the components, unless I decide to add a few more last minute things

I also got some acrylic and LED accessories done. Thanks to JasonB for the tips on working with acrylic

Well, we got it together, but i was sweating bullets during the remaining hour before the show was due to open. We started setting up Wednesday morning and worked till 7pm. My son James took the day off to help, as the the first day was mostly heavy work require two strong backs/weak mind types . We got the tower and sound board assembled and all the product hung, this left all the nitty gritty for me on Thursday morning as the show opened at noon. It seemed like I still had a million miles of wires to run and the show was opening in an hour

HUGE thanks to GoBoardGo (Greg) who stopped by and help. He helped my wife carrying some remaining stuff in and carry out some no longer needed stuff out while I was buried behind the board wiring. The show promoters where on the PA about getting vehicles out, so we were in crunch mode.

Overall how was the show? I've been hearing from several guys in the biz that the shows have been pretty good this year. Same for you?

I was really impressed with chpthril's working display in such a small space. I have a couple pics I need to upload of the owner and sponsored Kicker rider. It looked and sounded great!
