Can anyone tell me how to run the speaker wire to the tower speakers from the stereo... will I need to drill holes to get the wire up there... does anyone have any pictures? I bought a wetsounds Pro485 and have a kicker 750.4 running the cabin speakers and a sub... and I have a kicker 350.4 that I want to run the wet sounds pro 485... so do I have to drill a hole in the boat or can I fish it up through the tower? and do i have to drill a hole in the top of the tower? any info or pics would be great... thanks

Ok, first, yes, i can help you with the wiring. 2nd, do you have a single or pair of Pro485? You need to double check what amp you have for the tower setup. The zx350.4 is the factory amp that Tige used, but will not run a WetSounds Pro 485.
Short post cause i.m on a work site, dollar waiting on a dime. Call me if you want.

Here are a few amps that I would recommend. The order is specifically based on output from minimum watts RMS and up.
Kicker ZX350.2 = 350 watts rms @ 4 ohms
Wet Sounds Syn4 = 400 watts rms @ 4 ohms for 1 or 2 Pro485's or 125 watts RMS for an addition pair of speakers along side the single Pro485
Kicker ZX850.4 = 425 watts RMS @ 4ohms for 1 or 2 Pro485's or 175 watts rms watts RMS for an addition pair of speakers along side the single Pro485
Kicker ZX450.2 = 450 watts rms @ 4 ohms.

Here are a couple pics:
Materials:
Electricians fish tape
Contractor string
Electrical tape
Masking tape
Variable-speed reversible drill
Drill bits.
Split-loom Conduit
12ga 2 conductor speaker wire - 25ft per speaker.
I like to start with a small pilot hole, then move up. Run drill slow and in revers till bit is through gel-coat and into fiber glass. Chamfer the hole to help prevent cracking, sand paper works fine. Dont forget rubber gasket when you start to run wireMikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I have to pull new wires as well and have never tried going through such
a small hole.
I pull all the speaker wires at once, but do the lower section first, then pull the wire section through the upper, dont try to pull the wire through the whole tower at once. It also helps to have someone feed (push) the wire while you pull the string, if you pull too hard, the string will pull off the wire and you will have to start over. If you are going to run 4 speakers, then go with 14ga wire, you can get 4 pairs through there, and that's it. For 1 pair of speakers, you can run 14ga or 12ga depending on the amount of juice you will be running. For most, 14ga is fine.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
