Other than wetsounds.....what tower speakers would you buy and why?

Another brand that many swear by is NVS. It is another "pro audio" style like WetSounds, including a higher-end sticker price. If you really put the power to them, they really pump out the sound.
If you are looking to spend a little less money, check out the Kicker KMT6. I have heard great things about them. A little less volume possible than WS or NVS, but significantly less cost.
All of these companies have great reputations for customer service. No matter what you go with, make sure to have them well matched to an amp that can use them to their full potential and sound quality.

I suffered through 2 summers with no tower speakers because I was saving for WS. I don't regret it at all. Watch ebay and once in a while, if you're patient or lucky, you'll find a great deal that will get you into a set much cheaper than retail.
I'd keep an eye out for a 485 or set of Pro 80s if you need to piece the tower speakers together over time. Remember that you can paint them also if you find a great deal int he wrong color.Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?Comment
