I am thinking the housing would be alot lighter.

Is there maybe another speaker I can look at which is reasonably priced??

    Thanks\

Buy the Pro 80's from Fan here. I have no affiliation with him.
You are not going to beat that price.
I have a pair of 80's I bought on ebay new for $691 plus shipping. They are powered by a Syn-2 and they kick arse.
If you go cheap guaranteed you will upgrade, so just do it right the first time.

Audio Form makes some nice cans, but those are car type speakers in a tower speaker can. You may not see any improvement over what is on the tower now. Also, as noted before in another thread, If you're only looking to upgrade the tower speakers, the amp you have now needs to be taken into consideration. If you're not happy with what;s up there now, and they are under powered, a new brand new set of speakers will be just as disappointing when underpowered by the same old amp. But they'll be shiny! These are not going to reach out to the rider inles you really pour the coals to them

I cant say enough about these, they are the best bank for the buck out there. http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/m...tml?1246301449.

Again, for these, you will probably need and amp, specificaly a 2cnhl, but hard to say till youget in the boat and see what yu got in there as far as amps go already. These need a good 150 watts rms.

Yes, lots of them, but keep in mind that volume to speakers is like horsepower to an engine.........it cost money to make it. There are alot of quality speaker cans out there, loaded with quality speakers, but their designed primarily as a cabin or car type speaker and they struggle to compete with a speaker that is designed to project sound. Kinda like trying to run a slalom course on a wakeboard, doesnt mean the wakeboard sucks, just wrong equipment for the sport.

I 2nd the recommendation to look at picking up the Pro80's from SPBFAN, but, you will probably need an amp. http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10291
