Anyone have any ideas on why my wired remote doesn't light up at night. Is it even supposed to?

Do they work at all?... the LCD screen I mean. If not, Check all the connections.... they light up when your lights are on for sure though. The have a male and female end that plug into each other somewhere along the way. Just gotta crawl in there and follow the cable.
If they work just no backlighting, the LCD could be bad. I had two go bad. If they don't work and the connections are all tight, start looking at the head-unit.Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet. -
It should be powered off the Nav switch when the running lights are on. If it where me, I would move it to the anchor terminal of the switch. The LCD is too bright to have killing the drivers night visionOriginally posted by Thomas Hohl View Post
