BO's approval rating is lower at this point in his 1st (and only) term, then GWB's was.
Barack will not be a 2-term president The Reps' will be back in control of the house, and maybe be in the White House. With 18 months left in his first term, Hillery will turn on him like a pit bull. She want the oval office bad and will blame everything good that didn't happen, and everything bad, in his 3.5 years on Barack's lack of experience. all right boys, take your militia meeting elsewhere! LOL
I'm not so convinced that Bdog is doing a bad job...yet. Quite frankly he's gotten about 10-16 years of bad policy crammed up his butt in the last few months. What Clinton didn't unravel in his terms, GW did. I'm sitting on the fence throwing rocks at the crap I don't like until I feel like we aren't making progress. It's extremely slow right now, and the infectious positive attitude has yet to take hold, but I kinda see the spark.
Hell, most of us can't even unpack from a house move in 3 months, let alone fix the greatest economy cluster**** in history. I guess we shall see."I want to know God's thoughts, the rest are just details"

I've been doing some research ok AIG too.
Here's my break down.
Let's say I own a strip club/adult novelty shop on the highway if a small town... Tequilasun' Slugs n' Plugs
Now let's say my shop brings in a large portion of the tax revenue in my town.
If my ladies are doing well greasing truckers for their sweaty crinkled bills, and they have bonus' tied to how many lap dances and back room deals they can make. And they are knocking it outta the park. But the novelty shop is sucking. They can't sell jack...
If the town says due to my revenue, they can't let me fail, is it fair to not pay my working moms what they are due...because next door the staff can't keep the quarter booths full? We all know the fickle nature of employees, if they don't get what they are promised, and can't pay for their law school, my pole jockeys are gonna quit and start working at the Shake and bake in the next town over. Thereby crushing my chances of maintaining my market share, and the town loses the revenue from that side of the business too. So it's a major catastrophy for everyone involved...
This is AIG in a nutshell."I want to know God's thoughts, the rest are just details"

It's not that he's doing a bad job, it's that he's not doing his job........He's too busy insulting mentally and physically challenged people on late-night comedy talk shows and picking basketball teams and not running the country. His lack of experience is starting to show. He doesn't know what to do, he is still campaigning to the people.
He has committed to a pull-out date in Iraq and has committed to X number of troops to be sent to Afghanistan, by later this year, without consulting the correct people. He did this without exploring the feasibility of the increase in Afghanistan as they do not have the infrastructure and support lines to support that kinda increase. They money he says is being wasted in Iraq, that should be spent here, will now be sent to Afghanistan to build up the bases for this committed troop increase. Once again, lack of experienceMikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I agree with where your going on that. But in going to add one thing. This administration is wholy different than any we have seen in a long time. I get the feeling that they are a " throw it out there and let's think it through" type if people. Kind if like spitballing creative ideas as opposed to the " this is what we are doing, like it or not" Bush admin. I think both perspectives have plusses and minuses."I want to know God's thoughts, the rest are just details"

yup, first african american president, and then the next first woman president, and then maybe in 2016 someone that knows what they are doing and then maybe by what 2018 we will be doing better?
OB just doesn't know what to do. Some is his fault, some isn't. Our whole Government is messed up due to the career politicians.
the 2012 election will be a joke because as CHP said Hilary will just use the blame game, and will end up winning for 2 reasons:
1) since OB didn't do anything for his race they won't come out to vote, let alone vote for him.
2) First woman president will draw record people out to the polls and she will win.
oh well. Time will tell, just hope it doesn't get too much uglier, it's getting bad.Originally posted by G-MONEYIt hurts me to say it but go OU but only for this weekend!!!!

Eh, I don't know about Hillary. If the dems don't get the "black" vote, it's going to be hard for them to win.
I do believe we broke both the race barrier and we will break the glass ceiling soon too. The thing about BO is that he was campainng for the nomination right after Gore was done. Republicans should take note of that strategy if they are smart."I want to know God's thoughts, the rest are just details"

very good call.
Yes they need to take note.
Good points Tequilasun!!
I really think that hillary will be in 2012, I see women republicans switching parties just to vote for her. Maybe I'm just biased cuz I'm on the crazy side of the world right now.

Originally posted by Tequilasun View Postit gets worse, Obama wants to make Veterans use their private health insurance to pay for their care at VA hospitals! Can you say increased premiums?
If this is fact, it is so shortsighted it is unreal. Already small company America is suffering from the cost of insurance now let alone the cost of returning to health war torn veterans.
When I was still employed, I paid 25% of my health insurance for myself and for the family portion I paid 60% of the monthly premium. At the time it was not a hardship but for many of the employees it was a tremendous chunk out of their earnings. Many Small to medium companies are struggling to continue to offer any type of health coverage and now Obama wants to have the private sector which is already in its own crisis to pick up the cost of George and his Weapons of Mass Destruction of our economy plan.
If this is real and put to the private sector I don't even want to think about the affect. Small business like the company I worked for would shutdown and I would venture to say many more would be waiting in line to file Chapter 11 or for family run business they may just shut down with margins as slim as they are for small business. Financial leadership at it's best. Yeah right
All I can say is please tell me it ain't soLast edited by MoneyPity; 03-22-2009, 11:28 PM.
