1. Increase taxes > increase gov't spending > increase employement = Better economy.
2. Decrease taxes > increase citizen's spending capacity = Better economy
I believe in #2, because extra cash gets spent in the markets and development.

Did anyone see Aritha Franklins singing of "My Country 'Tis of Thee"? Was it me or was that the worst singing of the song that you have ever heard?

She had a sweet hat tho.Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

I believe in #2, because extra cash gets spent in the markets and development.
But I personally favor #2.
I am actually in favor balancing the budget, something Bush seemed to have no interest in. He somehow asked the American people to spend billions on a war and never once asked us to pay for it.
I have no idea how Obama can do what he says he will do since he has promised a modest tax increase and a huge increase in expenditures without any cuts. Mathematically, it just seems to not add up to me. I am still disgusted that the American people seem to think it is possible.Be excellent to one another.
