Jim, I love the new paint scheme! I love the yellow explosion the best. Maybe the story adds to the reason, but I think it's cool. Maybe you're onto the next new paint style?

The yellow was not a happy time at 1 in the morning. It was also tough spraying almost in darkness as my garage does not have the best lighting. All in all pretty fun evening. Got to bed about 3 am.

Success! The Nitro Rustler lives. Actually, it screams. Ran a few tanks through it yesterday and it runs real nice. Not too fat, not too lean. Can't wait to get it on the track.

Well, took it out to the track this weekend. It's fast. It might be a little beat up but, it still hauls a$$. Definitely more of a hand full than those new AE 1/8 MGT's but, it will hang with them down the straight and turn a lot better in the tight stuff. The track really is too small for 1/8 monster trucks though. Perfect for 1/10 stadium truck. It even out jumped 'em.

My car owner () was so impressed () he gave me one of his street car to rebuild. Don't know much about it other than it appears to be a CEN Racing 1/10 4WD, belt drive nitro with a Volvo Body. That and it's pretty much like the rest of his fleet, built up and beat down.

I had a new in package Ford Class 8 body for my XX4 from 10 years ago. I put it on EBAY and it sold for $110 plus shipping on Saturday. I think I listed it to low

Well, in one month, I've gone from one little stock electric stadium truck to it plus a nitro truck and now two nitro street cars. The second street car is in much better shape than the first. Although he just had it tuned up at the local hobby shop and the battery pack fell out resulting in a run-away car. Broken bumper and four broken wheels. Otherwise, looks almost new. Both are CEN Racing 1/10 4WD belt driven.

I would buy from a usa store. They are darn inexpensive though.

Team XP has shrunk. The 2 and 4 wheel drive buggies have sold, I think I got pretty decent prices for 12-13 year old cars. I also sold some vintage stuff from 1984, bunch of spare parts. I am going to keep the electric truck and the 2 gas trucks as they are not worth much now. I am going to order a few nimh batteries for thrashing in the electric truck

LOL on a runaway... sorry that it happened to you, but the OH CHIT! factor when it happens is funny to look at after all the damage has been repaired and the sting forgotten.

BTW - I always used Denatured Alcohol in a spray bottle and dry with compressed air for cleaning. DA does not harm electronics, is cheap and plentiful, and works like a charm even on nasty nitro/dirt buildup.

The blue one in the bottom pic is the same as the one flying just with a new body.
