wow, those are pretty good deals, I have been thinking about anew LCD for my porch......
I had a 4 month old Westinghouse LCD that recently died , it was buy.com refrub, I am still trying to decide if it died because it was POS or if the porch killed it.

Yeah they def. are smoking deals! Now if only someone could get employee pricing on the Mitsubishi L65-A90 .... that's the set I'm waiting for!

If you want pm me your email and I will forward the entire flyer with the FAQ sheet. Deal ends on Dec. 3rd. We get these employee deals in Dec and April. Usually the April set is more laptops and projectors...etc.

Glad you can take advantage of it. My daughter wants a tv/dvd combo, so I'm getting the 19in.

For what it is wort I own a Toshiba Regza 42" 1080P and think the picture is excellent and like the prices you see are very good values.

I would recommend if possible to get an extended warranty service contract so if anything fails the set is replaced and not repaired.

When we first purchased our Regza it worked great for the first month then poof no picture sound etc. Per Toshiba I took the set to the local warranty repair center and found out they needed to order parts.

When the set was not fixed after 2 weeks I checked status and was told parts have been ordered but Toshiba had zero stock on those parts and all of those parts were going to new production not repair.

After 2 months I escalated from local repair to Toshiba USA and although I finally got a replacement set. I was without a set for over 3 months.Toshiba finally replaced the set and the replacement set did not have 3 HDMI ports (only 2) and did not have PIP and a couple of other features like a sleep timer etc. like the original model had.

It was enough fun to get the set replaced with one that had same picture specs that I decided that PIP and the missing items were not worth any more fun. Since we have gotten the replacement Regza it has been a great HD set.

We recently changed to AT&T U-Verse from DirecTV and not only is the HD picture better but non HD shows and movies look good too.

The word of caution is that Toshiba does not have the best warranty repair program in the marketplace thus the recommendation to get an extended warranty that replaces the set no matter what happens.

On the plus side, the 42" 1080P LCD set gets a fantastic picture in 1080I broadcast mode or 1080P Blue Ray mode. The difference between 1080P and 1080I is noticeable and on action shot Blue Ray movies it is great. 1080I on broadcast is also great but if you are going smaller than a 40" set 720P costs less and the pictures extremely sharp and putting our 36" Samsung next to our Regza it is hard to see the difference between 1080I and 720P dependent on screen sizes.

If I were to buy another Toshiba I would most definitely would get extended contract. The prices offered are great and the picture quality is very good for the money. It has a good value point for the money.

                      Good Luck and thanks Sparky.

Thanks for the info Money. Sadly, most electronic OEM's do not put the time or resources into their warranty departments. That said, the OEM's do stand behind their products and you will get your problems fixed.....perhaps not as quickly as you'd like but it will happen. If you want speed then I suggest you make all your purchases at Costco or Best Buy as they will bend over backwards for repeat business. Sometimes it feels that OEM's have "more important" issues to tackle. I work for Toshiba, just not in their Consumer Electronics division and have owned many Toshiba items. I have had some minor issues in the past with a Tecra M3 that my wife has and I must say that Toshiba was very responsive and prompt in helping me with after warranty issue. I have also had very good service from JVC.........perhaps I'm just lucky, but I have heard plenty of similar stories as your Money.

BTW. I don't work for this division, have not stake in the purchases, and will be of minimal help if you need it........I work in the medical division and have no "contacts" in TACE (Toshiba America Consumer Electronics). I'm just passing this along to friends. I know at least 2 dozen ppl that have taken advantage of this in the past and have been very happy, but I agree with you Money, get the extended warranty because these TV's are very expensive to fix.

BTW, my dad called me today and he decided to check out the prices vs the local electronics stores......they were much better and the local store honored the prices on the flyer.......just an FYI, it may work for you too!

Did they honer the no tax as well?

BTW I looked up our deals through work and we too have the Toshiba deal on the same TV's but not quite as good as you deal.

I might pull the trigger on the 52"
