Just saw an ad for the new blackberry with touchscreen.............."I feel sorry for people that don't drink, when they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're gonna feel all day" - Frank Sinatra

I have the LG viewty and it's pretty sweet! Gotta love the 5mp camera. Only problem is it won't work at the 850mhz frequency that alot of providers here use. Seeing as your in FL, you'd prob. be ok w/ it!
It's def. a sexy phone.Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

I have Verizon (I hate the service) and I have the Blackberry 8830 World Edition. It's a really good tri-band phone.
I have much better service when I'm on a GSM or 3G network. Verizon's CDMA network sucks. Any conversation I have that lasts more than 10 or 15 minutes gets dropped. :BS:Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

I have a couple of Blackberry' 7130e's similar to the pearl and they worked great until my company went to Microsoft Exchange with VPN connections so I could not get to cooperate mail. Still could do pop mail and othe but exchange was impossible.
My family is all on Verizon so no mater who we call in fancily the call is not charged against our minutes. I upgraded to the Verizon XV6900 which has a lo of features and like the iphone can have memory expanded and be personalized with a host of 3rd part apps to add a lot of nice features. It is a touch screen which you can use you fingers for but typing with the stylus is better. It's voice recognition for making calls are great and it mail and browsing functions are good
Sprint sells the same phone only in black vs Verizon White.
Only down side if you check email too often you will go thru battery power quickly, Even with the $40.00 battery upgrade it will not make it thru the day if you check email every quarter hour. Now I check ever 1/2 hout or every 45 minutes.
The tethering features of the XV6900 work great. I travel a lot and normally use tethering features vs open securuti ove a WI-FI network. While tether I cannot plave calls but I can recieve. Good phone for $149 on a 2 year contrac. If Best Buy still has some in stock the where reducing price to $49 on a 2 year.
