Based on some of the local returns, it looks like the Dems are cleaning up, probably due to straight ticket voting.

CNN has just announced Obama as the next President.
This election was a landslide. McCain and a lot of Republicans never had a chance thanks to Bush's incompetence and total lack of good decision making.

Chp it was way more than first time voters creating the landslide win for Obama. I think you need a reality check that the American public is pissed and fed up with what Bush did to us over the last eight years. If nothing else nobody can dispute what a mess he got us in with Iraq. He chose to go to war on crappy inteligence and I am glad he is going off into the sunset as one of the WORST presidents in history.

wow, bitter? I doubt he is the worst, perhaps not the best but not the worst. I'm no Bush supporter but he is not the worst considering what he had on his plate.....

I agree, definitely not the worst. But again, I didn't think there was a guage on who the worst president was.

Bush did not get us into the Iraqi mess. IMO, it takes Congress to vote to inact war and the President to sign that inactment. If you want to blame anyone, blame ourselves for getting into the war. However, we should have taken Saddam out in 1990/91. Should have finished it and we would have never been back.

We are screwed.. Anybody want to do a group buy into Belize?

so, exactly what does that have to do with McCain...............last time I checked which was just...........um now, it was McCain running for Pres. not Bush, are you one a those people that think McCain is only alive because they have implanted bush's brain inside him and that's why he is still alive and bush isn't really in the spotlight anymore? kinda weird

What it has to do with McCain is that he is associated with Bush if for nothing else as a Republican. He couldn't distance himself far enough from Bush.
All politicians suck @ss some worse than others.
