Beaver's beat up on Ohio State, SC beats up (again) on the SEC or Big 12. The "weak" PAC 10 has two teams in the BCS, which means more money for the Beavers and Trojans, more money for the PAC 10 and better recruiting next year.
It's easy to come into a big game at the end of the year all FRESH and ready to play when you don't play anybody all year. No player hurt or necked up. Not hard to win those big game that way. I am just waiting it out, Florida still has a lot of football and good team left to play.

      Go Lakers.
Well that's it, I'd love to get more Packer news but I do live in the NW so it's Seahawks all day long. Come'on Dom, what do you expect living in CA......Sooner talk and news?

I think that when all is said and done, the Beaver's will be ranked as well. They are a pretty good team, not nearly as bad as was thought, when they beat SC. The Beaver's have my respect.

I can't argue with the fact that the big 12 is up this year, but Tanner's constant rants are making me an SEC fan . and I hate Florida and LSU.
I have to correct you LP, OSU has 4 games left and all very LOSEABLE....we have UCLA, CAL, AZ, and Oregon....those are all very tough games.

Yes, losable but you should be favored in most if not all. UCLA will not be a challenge, are the remaining three after that at home? Just win them all and get to the Rose Bowl. Obviously, Oregon will be tough, since it is a rivalry game, but they can do it.

Cal and Oregon are home games (I doubt that we will be favored over Cal)
UCLA and AZ are away games

Lose one and were done....going to be very tough

Conjur up whatever excuses you would like. The fact of the matter is that they have played teams that are tough, and will be playing some tough games down the stretch. I don't care what conference you are in, conference games are hard games, familiarity breeds contempt and schools that play each other year in and year out, know what it takes to win.

If you look at the BCS history for the past seven years, if USC has a BCS bowl game this year, it will be seven BCS bowl games in a row. their record in the previous six is 5-1. They have beaten schools from the Big 10 and Big 12. In addition they have regularly gone into SEC country and played those schools on their home field and won those games easily as well. Your argument about a weak schedule and coming into those games does not hold water. Some of those years they had one of the tougher schedules in the country. Just because the Pac 10 is down this year, does not diminish the fact that they are a great team this year and have been in years past as well.

              FIGHT ON

this, from the LA Times, could affect your chances:

"Beavers quarterback Lyle Moevao is still questionable with an injured right shoulder. If he cannot play, Sean Canfield will start against the Bruins"

                  I hope not.

There are A LOT of SC fans in this country plus they are almost always a player in the BCS so ESPN is always going to focus on them. I think the one team that always gets screwed by the media is Boise State IMHO.......

Um you are wrong there LP. How many teams does SC play that are ranked? Its 2 or 3 right? Tx, tech, OU, osu all play at least 4 games in a row of ranked teams and many in a row. I'm sorry but it does stand up in water!!
