Just assumed it had been created and was because of what had happened the previous year.

It first happened in 2001 if you'll Remember. Undefeated Nebraska lost to CU in their last game of the season. Thus sending CU to the big 12 championship game. 1 loss Nebraska then went on to the National Championship game against Miami even though they didn't even play in their conference championship.

In 04' OU played in their conference championship, BUT didn't win. They still went in.

Thats when all hell broke loose. Of course, nothing was done about it.

It's just one of those things I guess. Everyone is all talk no walk.

I think two things need to happen here to better balance things out. Every conference needs to have each its teams play one team in each of the other conferences. They can make the arrangements, but it will at least give you an idea of how strong they are.

The second thing is that the conference champion needs to advance to a playoff. Seeding in the playoff can be based on rank, but they have to play it out.

I have a feeling we might see them go down this weekend. For some reason OSU always plays them well, even in Austin. Or will there be a third year in a row that Texas has to mount a 4th quarter 20+ point comeback.... like every year since 04'?

McCoy did increase his bench press by 100 lbs, maybe it is steriods.

We really want OSU to beat TX this week. They have to loose twice for us to make it to the championship, well not 100% but we do to break the tie breaker.

The BCS will once again be a mess this year, just wait and see.

I'm still gunning for the OU/TX rematch in the NC game is why I'm saying that. LOL. I'm hoping someone knocks out Bama and the original OSU takes out Penn St. this weekend. Problem is I don't see Penn St. really losing to anyone in that pathetic conference.
