    Presidential Debate

What are your guy's thought's on how it went?
Personally I thought MCcain had a bit of little mans syndrome and was really squirmy when not speaking. His smirks while Obama was speaking were a bit strange. He reminded me of a chihuahua I used to have.
What was up with the spittle on the bottom of Obama's bottom lip?
I can hardly wait for the vice president debate.

They both sucked. I was disappointed how they evaded the questions and didn't really say anything.

Have any of the candidates in the past really answered the questions asked?
They are just following the status quoe.

I agree, I was disapointed. Not that I expected much out of Obama but I expected better out of MCcain. I thought I was watching a tap dancing episode of dancing with the Presidential Candidates.

I particularly didn't like the fact that Obama seems to be maniacly focused on blaming George Bush and investigating who we should blame. I think they need to move on. Get over the fact that we're in the mess we're in now and figure a way out of it. I'd like to hear some solutions.

If they take a stand on anything then they will be held accountable and they are not going to let that
              happen

That shifts the focus away from the fact he doesn't have a clue on how to fix it.

Also, the more he associates McCain with Bush, it makes his campaign look better without really talking about what he has or hasn't done and would do as Pres.

Answers are prepared, nealry scripted based upon scenario analysis by specific members of the campaign. It would be a mistake to think we hear what either man personally thinks. Blaming Bush and associating with McCain with Bush is a tactic that the campaign thinks is beneficial for their leader.

They both blew chunks... At least Clinton could talk.

It's like that saying, "you don't have to prove you're right, you just have to prove they're wrong."

Not saying that MCcain is wrong, you get the idea.

Man I wish I could post that joke about not being able to fix the economy but I think I can XXXXXX rig it.

But I'd be bashed for insensitivity and not being very PC.
Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

Makes you wanna see Reagan vs. Clinton. Now that would be a good debate.

                            X2!

Debates aren't for information relating to the state of affairs or even the country... they are for information about the personality under pressure.

I have to agree - whether you were being sarchastic or not - this would have been excellent theater... both were masters.
