My ex wife was raised mormon in a family of 13. She was the second born in this family that was not very close to each other.
Her brother that was the first born was arrested around 1992 for robbing a bank and spent some time in jail. He did straighten out and has been in college for the last 10 years.
Her other brother that was born after her was a drug addict that had a daughter and couldn't hold a job and moved in with her parents.
Her younger brother committed suicide by cutting his wrists.
I want to finish off by saying that all but one of her sisters smoke cigs, drink booze and do not practice the religion.
I am not sure what happened to this family but I sure don't miss the drama.
I think what people forget is that "people" are not perfect. The above example is like saying , I had a Tige with lots of problems therefore all Tiges must be bad. I went to school every day and sat there listening to my teachers I never followed there followed there guidance but I was a student. I wonder why I never grew? You can find good and bad in all things but one.

Yes maybe the clip is to long but the message is a universal message not just a LDS one. If you are a Christian this is what you believe and so many believe that we (mormons) are not Christians. After all we are The Church of Jesus Christ.

I wasn't trying to slam the religion, rather just what I experienced over the course of nine years.

I have had numerous friends that are LDS over the years. Every single one of them would give me the shirt off their back. Very good people and always a great time talking with them.

I find it funny that LDS is the fastest growing church but then they also have 6 children in their homes. hahaha But again, I have 5 children in my house. Two of which are my own.
