I was spoiled when I was attending BYU, if we weren't ranked in the top ten, we were disappointed. For now, I will revel in the current rankings.

They won their National Championship the year after I graduated. I was there with Steve Young and Jim McMahon. Young spent most of his educational time in the Tanner building, as did I (accounting). McMahon had a locker next to me in the athletic locker room. He was a pretty good raquetball player as well as a quarterback.

One things for sure.... if the national champ. is between a Big 12 and SEC team, those two teams will be battle tested! The question is, will they be able to make it to that game in one piece after such tough schedules. (referring to injuries)

I was there 83-88 through Young, McMahon and Bosco. I agree that the national championship will most likely between two teams that have 1 loss.
