Well, all in all, it was a pretty damn good week. Saw a lot of cool stuff and had a good time doin' it. PreSaturday brought some heavy hearts with the passing of one of our young F1 pilots in a, quite frankly, bizarre incident. While running a pre-qualifying lap, both wings snapped off and, well, its pretty tough to fly with no wings. Blue skies Erika. It's always tough but, the show must go on right. The rest of the week went off like clockwork. A few tense moments as always but, in the end, the one they call "Tiger" brought it home in Strega on Sunday and put the Merlins back on top. I'll get some shots up for those who are into it and I might even throw in some commentary when I can.

I flew in a Yak 40 once. Kinda scary when you get on a plan where the seats fold down entirely. When I asked about it, I was told that they used it to transport livestock in eastern Europe. Kinda reminded me of the bush planes we flew in in Canada, except this was a jet.

Got an email from a guy I met out on the fence this year. He was out with the two Crazy Germans and a Frog. Said he had a nice shot of me. Notice the tige sticker on the back window.
