    Almost there.

    Another couple of days and it is on. Just a few teasers as most teams are in a "No Press" mode.

          Most mustangs were single seat fighters but, not all of them. Mustangs had inline motors though. Look at the firing order at the bottom of the plate.

            It looks like one of those dive bombers they used in the Pacific theater. I want to say a *EDIT* Dauntless or something to that effect.

                Hellcat was actually a fighter. Not a bad guess though Dog. I can see why you would think it was the "Dauntless" dive bomber. They have a similar type canopy.

                This type of aircraft never saw any combat although it was flown by most of the WWII fighter pilots.
