My tax accountant emailed me some states today for the candidates plans. I really have not liked either party for the last twelve years so I am not biased except for the mighty dollar.

McCaine Obama


Capital Gains Tax 15% Currently 15% 20%

Max Corporate Tax 25% Currently 35% 35%

Estate Tax Exemption 5 Mil 3.5 Mil

Estate Tax Rate 15% 45%


These Estate Stats put Obama in the HOLE because the estate tax is important to me. 30% more makes the difference between a great retirement and just an ok one.

My wife and I pay plenty of taxes,, we don't need to get hit furthur.

The American Auto industry is under tons of taxes and regulation and problems they are trying to overcome.
They don't need any more govt either.
The marketplace will guide what direction they head, but the dems want to take credit for it.

Iraqi is winding down.
Don't see any need for Obama.
Nice guy, but not presidential enough in this changing world.

McPain is no angel, but seems a BIT more honed for the job, but honestly seems tired and not that interested in it.
Kinda like Goldwater in '64.

Obama reminds me of Jimmy Carter. Might be a paper tiger once in the office and the Dem party gets their hands on him.

I really don't care much for Barrack I don't really know anything about him other than he can give a damn good speech, but I do like Joe Biden. McCain is a very noble person and I have a ton of respect for him. This muslim/Obama/Osama crap pisses me off as much as the John McCain has 10 houses............WTF......who cares, its a NON ISSUE PEOPLE!!!!! There are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo o many other things to be concerned about.

+1. Unfortunately, neither candidate will veer all that far from the status quo.....which is NOT A good thing. I liked McCain 8 years ago b4 he became Dubya's lap dog. Should be an interesting election though.....
