Guys,

I closed the post whore thread because it ran its course. Also because of the unnecessary bandwidth and server load of everyone "chatting" every few seconds. The forum that wasn't meant for a chat application. This resulted in several database errors when certain PHP scripts were running. The best thing to do was to close the thread, sorry guys.

The only thing I can suggest is that you all can chat with each other using an instant message client like Google Talk, Messenger, AOL, etc.

I know that doesn't help and by no means am I trying to kick you guys off but as I stated my database was throwing some fits with that thread.

One thing I like about this site is the community aspect. There certainly is a sense of community in that thread.

It is unfortunate that the thread caused errors. As an admin of a php board I am curious about the errors. That is not that large a thread by internet/database standards...

I definitely liked the thread for the quick answer you could get. Just the other day I had a quick question about trailer lights. Seemed like an easy enough question and I ddin't feel it needed a new thread.

You knew where the regulars would be hanging around. The thread provided a lot of good information at times. Other times, yes therer was a lot of 'ing going on.
