As most of you already know Apple has come out with a new iPhone that is 3G and has many more features than the original iPhone. Who is going to get one? If you visit Apple's website you can find out more about it. It is going to be twice as fast and HALF the price. The 3G is iPhone is 2.4x faster than the iPhone in the EDGE network, and the iPhone itself is faster than other phones on the 3G network. Although the service for iPhone will be bumped from $20 to $30. The 8GB model will be only $199, and the 16GB will be $299. The 16GB comes in two colors black and white. Unlike the previous iPhone the back on the 3G will be made of plastic and it will be glossy, and thinner. All the buttons except the home button will be made of metal, and the head phone jack will now be flush with the iPhone's body. This lets you choose what headphones you want. Before you had to either buy an extension to use your headphones or buy ones compatible with iPhone. Some cool new features added to the iPhone include GPS, where you can track your progress along the Earth and get to where you want to go. Also iPhone is in Enterprise now, and you can push E-Mail, Calendar, and Contacts to many iPhones and computers at the same time. Another cool feature is the addition of the App Store. There you can get applications that developers have created for users. Some applications include educational programs, all the way to fun and exciting games. Current iPhone users can upgrade also to the Software Update 2.0. This includes the App Store and Enterprise. Other cools features that were added in this update was the addition of the Scientific Calculator. While you are using the calculator you can turn the iPhone into landscape and the Scientific Calculator will be presented. The feature of being able to download documents and pictures to your phone will also be added, and now you can download documents from PowerPoint. Mail on the iPhone will be so much easier with being able to move or delete a bulk of e-mails. Apple also introduced the new replacement for .Mac. It is called MobileMe. MobileMe lets you updates you Mail, Calendar, and Contacts from all your devices in seconds, and is compatible with PC. iPhone 3G will shortly be available is over 25 countries and eventually around 88 countries.
