Chp - I know it's like the A&W Rootbeer drive up thing, but who wants to sit in their cars and eat? It wasn't a problem when I was a kid, in our station wagon with vinyl seats. YOu could practically hose that think out. It was like 200 deg. out and people were sitting there with their cars and A/C running. Others, not running, but probably sweating like we were outside. Maybe I'm just used to it, but I'd rather park my car and sit inside an A/C dining room and leave the crumbs on their floor.

Maybe the food is as good as the others have said? It is, making me hungry.

Dave, c'mon man you know that most things aren't as good as they were over 20 years ago, are you as good now as you were in 87?

Leave it to an Okie to bring you all the food you love so dearly

I know this is off topic, but the breakfast burrito at Sonic is good, but by far the best fast food burger is In-N-Out hands down. Man those things are good.

That is the one thing that I really miss about California (Okay, I miss the weather also!). Every time I go back I have to go to In-N-Out for a good old Double-Double Animal style. Since we still have family in CA, my family and I travel back often and my kids insist we stop at In-N-Out, it just is not a good trip unless we stop there.

Man, I am hungry just thinking about it. Don't even get me started on their milk shakes. I know this is more of a West Coast (Ca, Az, Nv) thing, but if you have not tried it, I highly recommend it. My neighbor, who I introduced him to it, says they should be named "In-N-Out-and-N-Again". Yes, he went through the drive through twice his first time, he thought it was that good.

I choose local joints for most of my grub....places like T'Coons, Fat Pat's, or Judice's; you guys really don't know food like we do and we have the heart failure rates to prove it!

Me and the little lady were mac'n a couple of corndogs outside Sonic one day when this kid showed up obviously late for work. He ran in back and reappeared in a flash, still putting the shoes to his vanilla shake costume on. He ran for the sidewalk so he could start waving to the happy motorists, but misjudged the 4ft. wide section of 8in. riverrock that separated the sidewalk from the parkinglot and got one of his big floppy shake feet cought up and landed flat on his shake face.

                      That was a good day.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.
