Can we get a break from the snow here?

Man, just looked at the weather forecast for Denver metro and we are supposed to get 3" - 8" of snow between today and tomorrow morning! I'm done with snow and winter, it's APRIL, let's move on! Don't give me the "you live in Denver" crap either...

There's no laughing! At the current rate we won't be out on the boat until mid-June! THAT'S NOT FUNNY!

We are getting snow here too. Let it snow, Lake Powell can use the water.

Don't worry. if it makes you feel better, I am still trying to get my RZ2 operating like normal... Haven't tested the boat out on the hull shot since the replacement of the Map Sensor.

Check this, the 2 lakes that we normally go to:
Horsetooth Reservoir: The current surface water temperature is approximately 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Boyd Lake: Current water temperature is approximately 44 degrees.

There will be some shrinkage for sure at that temperature!

I might hit the water on Saturday too for the first time this year to test the ballast if it is ready.

Let me knowhow the wake compares to your 24Ve

Looks a little bigger. But again, the RZ2 (with stereo and 4 batteries) and 24Ve (basic stereo with 1 battery) weigh the same. The RZ2 is sunk a little lower because there is less displacement surface.

I rode all year last season without a ballast. The wakeboard wake is good even without any ballast. But the surfing needs a little help.

What have you heard about the new platforms?

I haven't heard of anything yet... As far as I know, Tige is still experimenting.

It looks like the Z1 platform would work with the RZ2. It is smaller

Yes, but the brackets are too far apart on the RZ2. Would have to do some rebuilding IMO.... Could be wrong but again, it doesn't look like it will work straight "out of the box".
