The longer you wait the bigger you can go and the less money you will spend.

            ragboy,

do those articles explain the diff in high end and low end LCD and Plasma? Or can you?

If it's in those articles don't waste your time retyping as I'll read them tomorrow, or later today.

I just don't understand the diff when if they both have the same reslution and pixel size how they can charge that much more. I mean I know you pay for the name but....

            Thanks for the info.

Its basically the quality and the manufacturing of the lcd panel part of the TV. Here is an example

              http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...-6095,320-5647

Same company, same size and resolution. The more expensive panel, is the same used in apple monitors. The left cheaper one, is the one I have now. I new there was going to be a difference, but I could live with it. The difference is very noticeable in picture quality. The cheaper one is harsher, not as sharp.

ok, that's what I was thinking.

I know now I have the vizio in my room (50") and I love it. Now when I play games in HD it's great, but I don't even have cable yet, so I guess I really can't tell a diff when your just using bunny ears.

That being said, Vizio is a pretty decent bang for your buck.

oh well, decisions decisions. Thanks for all the reading material. Guess I better get busy
