    Installing Mac leopard

I just received my mac OS X Leopard and was just wondering if anyone else has installed it and ran into any issues.

    Thanks

A few, but more benefits than issues. 10.5.1 came out, and fixed most, and 10.5.2 comes out any day, and fixes even more. The biggest thing I would suggest with leopard, buy a big external disk, and use time machine. Even for a geek like me that can write my own backup scripts and stuff, it is amazing. It is really turn it on and forget about it, and your backups are just done, and perfect. Complete piece of mind.

I am looking at the disk now. I assume it is 10.5.1 disk just says 10.5.
Cool, will start the install soon.

      Thanks

I have had no issues at all after upgrading to Leopard. I absolutely love Leopard, so many cool and productive tools I couldn't imagine working with out them. Time machine, cover flow and quick preview are just to name a few.

Only issue I have had is in Photoshop but its very minor.

The only problem I had, was with my Linksys Router. The wireless network was not working with my MacBook Pro or my Mac Mini. It worked fine of course on the G5 tower because it was hard wired. I since upgraded to Airport Base Station N and no more problems.

10.5.1 are updated via software update. After you install, keep running software update, until it says you have no more updates.
