I know a few of you use Limewire, as do I. This applies to any file sharing program that anyone else may be using.

WATCH WHAT FOLDERS YOU HAVE SHARING!!! PEOPLE COULD DOWNLOAD YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!
I have sharing shut off, so no one can access anything off of my computer, and I advise you to do the same.

Limewire is monitored pretty heavily by the RIAA watchdogs. Hope they never open up the grey area of suits in favor of them.

Find a different method to file share if you choose to do so.

This is what happens when you share from monitored sites. I didn't even know this file was being shared! It's not even a good game. I could see if it was burnout or something.

(d) the subscriber’s name, address, and telephone number and a statement that the subscriber consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located.


In the event that you submit to Cox a counter-notification that includes these elements, Cox will forward your counter notification to the complainant and advise them that Cox will cease disabling access to the allegedly infringing material in ten (10) business days. Unless the complainant notifies us that it has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in the allegedly infringing activity prior to the expiration of those ten (10) business days, Cox will reactivate your account.

Yeah, well they apparently don't have signed deals with anyone just yet, so I'd wait a while for the paperwork to get finalized. I think they are building up some hype. Not sure how I feel about having commercials on my iPod.
