Yes and no. You learn how to do that kind of stuff, there is a market for your schools. Check out the experience of DVD Jon. He was your age when he started this whole thing.

I am on my second BD player, I had the samsung 1500, good player, but it lacked BD live, which I couldn't care much about. But the new 2500/2550 is completely networked, and even has netflix built in. So with my netflix account, I can add movies to my instant queue, and go to my blu ray player with my remote, select one and start watching. The quality is CRAP compared to my apple tv, but I am sure it will get better. But its basically free, I only have the 2 disc netflix account, and I can watch any instant movie anytime on my plasma with this BD player, and I don't pay extra for it.
I would love if apple tv came out with a subscription, because the quality is amazing.http://wake9.com/
