What was the Coolest toy you bought or got for Christmas?
I just about completed our Christmas shopping for the kids.
Maynard wanted a Marble Roller Coaster.
I remember them, they're back and still as cool as ever.
When my daughter was little and still into Nicktoons,, I was walking through the mall and stopped by one of those Sharper Image kinda stores. Used to be all kinds of them in the malls.
Anyway, they had the coolest Nickelodian Desktop Clock.
It looked like the Nick slime machine with Nickelodeon written in neon on top which made it cooler still. Also, a blue glowing neon bent antenna on the top of it too. All kinds of gadgets on the clock,, it was a Killertoy.
Damn it was cool. In addition to all kinds of cool factory sounds it made in high quality audio, it had 30 differnt alarm sound settings from a grouchy guy yelling get up!, to a factory Steam whistle, locomotive horn,, on and on.
They sold out of a pallet of them in a day and that was that.
Nick released a much cheaper, very crummy imitation version of that clock but it was nothing like the one I got. No where near the quality or nearly as cool.
Any remarkable gifts or toys from over the years?
