Gas rebate credit cards

I just looked at how much I've spent on fuel so far this year and Yeeeowza!! My credit card used to give 5% back on fuel but then dropped to 2%. I just noticed the Discover Open Road card gives 5% on gas and repairs.
Are there any other cards that give 5% or more?

Shell had one for awhile that gave .07 per gallon up to a certain dollar amount. Not sure if they still have that or if you have Shell's in your area.

5% equals about 15 cents/gal with prices here being around $3/gal.

Sounds good, I'm in. I figured there had to be at least one other person here trying to save $ on gas. I just hope they don't drop it from 5 to 2% like MBNA did.

DOM, I was just reading the small print while trying to sign up and I noticed they only give 5% on the first $100 every month. Have you noticed that? If so that's no bargain.

Use a Discover card...then there's no question.

I didn't notice. Let me look into that.

I just looked at my last statement and I had 189.03 (low month of the year for me) and it gave me 9.45 back so that's 5%

Maybe I got it before the change.

looked at the previous month of 503 and got 25.34 back so Yup I get the full 5 on all.

i know that I have the GAS only card. I only get 1% on all the other purchases if that matters. They had offered me a card that sounds like what you have seen but I didn't see the point either with only 100 bucks of 5%
