i found out when I stop my t-mobile it's going to cost me 400 bucks anway, so might as well wait a bit.

How long do you think its going to take ATT to roll out 3g over the entire country? If you live in L.A. or S.F. it will be within a year.

I mean I really thought about just getting the phone and switching to att but then I found out due to my contract it's 400 bucks to break. so then I thought about just getting the phone and hacking it. I'm just going to wait to get the phone I want and just then hack it i guess till dec and then i'll update to att.

who knows. I'll just keep waiting. What's it matter, I Have waited this long what's another few months.

Is there a good side for software for the Apple Touch??? Bought one yesterday for the boat stereo.

So far, there is a small learning curve but seems to be a very nice product.

for the boat stereo, I think you just need like a nano, or last gen nano/mini. I have like 4 of em for cars/boats. Work perfect, I think the touch would be a pain in the boat.

You are probably right but Best Buy said it worked the same and I have an iPod adapter in the boat now with a little stand. So, I went for it....

I was going to ask you "why not the iPhone", but then I remembered how we were out Easter Weekend and my buddy had that set-up and when the phone rang it came over the stereo...kind of a downer for all the boats tied up.

We got over it pretty quick when I cranked up my iPod on my new Wet Sounds

The other reason for it was to have a movie on "How to" on wakeboarding. That way I don't have to have a huge LCD put into the boat. But that would be nice.....

I actually prefer to use my regular iPod for the boat stereo since its a lot quicker to control. The iPhone requires a three step process, first wake, then slide to unlock and then hit pause/skip/etc.

With the iPod I can just hit pause/play without even looking at the screen which makes it much easier to use since I am constantly hitting pause/play in order to communicate with whatever rider I am towing.

I like it alot myself... The only issue is that I have to change a lot of the HU and remotes I think to get it to work. But, it's a slide it in and control it via the remotes.
