Got a question about "doctered invoices" and true invoices. I'm not buying from this dealer, but not sure if this guy was being a prick or he was shooting straight. It's alot of info, and no need to type it all unless someone here can answer the q

The dealer will never show you the real invoice they will always show you some bs invoice the made up.......
The only way to see the real invoice is to have some one get on the computer at the dealership and show you the invoice price....(they will not print out that page...ever!!!!)They never show the salesmen this price either so he might think that the price he is showing you is the invoice price....
The only people that can access that info at the dealership are the sales manager witch are always pricks IMO......the finance manager, fleet manager and any customer service people not selling cars.... The salesmen do not have access to this info and the never will.....Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Well that was pretty much my point... see I have access to the "real" invoice, as I pulled a dealer locate.
But I'm also getting GMS pricing, and they are supposed to get into serious trouble w/ GM if they jack their prices up w/ a GMS customer, and sure enough... his invoice has things jacked way up. Including the GMS pricing. I didn't think he would risk getting in trouble but apparently he is, from all my information. The sad part is, he even knew I had access to the dealer locate w/ the true invoice, and still did it!Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative....
