I'm going to Cabo in a month and I really want to race those sand rails.

    I have a Couple questions:

    1. How much was it for the day, or for one session?

    2. Did it hurt your back at all?

I have a couple blown disc's in my lower back and I was wondering how bad the landings felt. It looks like it could be a little rough.

    Thanks,
    Nuck'n
It was $250 for the driver and $50 for a passenger.

It wasn't really that rough, the suspension on those things are amazing and the seat is reclined so that your weight is distributed evenly. I would say go for it and just take it at whatever speed your back feels comfortable with.

You sign up for it right next to the Marina between Cabo Wabo and the Tesoro Hotel. You will see a sand rail out on the street. They drive you out to the track and then back to their office. You will love it.

Things have come a long way in the last 15 years. My dad had a sand rail that we used to drive around in OK. The suspension on that thing was so rough, you would have to check not just your fillings, but your actual teeth after a few hrs.

      It was fun though.

my neighbor rode on one with 22 inches of travel, that's a lot when you think about it. He said it rocked though!!

$250 is a lot money for anything in Mexico, I'm sure it's still worth it. I've watched Dust to Glory too many times.

Cabo has become very expensive for many things, especially for food... I don't get it.

because it's a trap, and they realize we will pay it, right?

For some reason I found this extremely funny.
