The automatic rear air-assisted load leveling shock absorbers help maintain vehicle height when fully loaded. The overall result is enhanced control, a high load-carrying capacity and a remarkably comfortable ride.
I don't think my denali has Autoride. My Denali has absolutely every option it was a $58k plus sticker. The race shop I took my Denali to said it had coil springs.

I have a 07 Yukon XL Denali and the autoride system was standard equipment.

I remember the Denali coming std w/auto-ride and it was an option on the Yukon.

According to the GMC website, the autoride is standard on all yukon danalis
Right off of the spec sheet:
"Suspension Package, Autoride, bi-state variable shock dampening and rear air-assisted load-leveling, includes automatic air level control"

Well your guy's version of riding better and mine might be different. In a truck I want a stiff/solid ride that soaks up the bumps and doesn't roll on corners! Not a soft spongy ride like a cadillac. The stock rides have gotten to where they are to soft. I'm just not a big fan of that. Although I rode in a lifted 2500HD the other day that was soft and spongy, softer than the stock ride even.

Guess I'll stop hijacking this thread now though!

I guess my Denali has auto-ride, you can tell I do a ton of research before I buy!
